Made with a thinner, more bendable, and durable optical quality material that is half the thickness and weight of original Jet Shades along with a brand new mounting system for an easier installation and better fit, Jet Shades Generation 2 Professional Series for Robinson R44 Raven II will:

We do not recommend Jet Shades for doors with bubble windows. Why? Jet Shades do not conform to the bubble curvature. However, some pilots still opt to install them for the benefits of heat, UV, and glare protection, removing them only when they require the extra space provided by the bubble windows.

Generation 2 Mounting System
Our new, patent-pending Generation 2 mounting system for the Robinson R44 Raven II ensures a quicker, easier, and more secure fit – so you can install and remove your windshield and side shades as needed during flight.
While original Jet Shades relied on a larger rubber trim to friction-fit inside of the aircraft window frame, Gen 2 Jet Shades slide and lock into the provided mounting brackets ensuring a perfect, snug fit even in moderate to severe turbulence. There is no STC needed, and installation (and removal) is quick and easy, requiring no tools or fasteners:
- Install mounting clip system into aircraft.
- Insert the Jet Shade into the installed mounting clips ensuring a secure, snug fit.
- Repeat for all windows.
